In a wireless system you still need an accessible way to test the alarms and find out which one triggered. The Ei450 does exactly that: press Test to sound the system, Locate to silence everything except the alarm that started it, and Silence to hush a nuisance alarm. A memory function shows whether a fire or CO alarm has activated since the last check.
